Beim Museumswärter
Museums are faced with the challenge of presenting a stable cultural identity while being subjected to continual renovations. The provincial and largely unknown Knopf & Knopf Museum exploits the cycle of incremental overhauls and upgrades, not to stay forever the same, but in order to take on a new identity. Through minor alterations and adjustments, Knopf & Knopf slowly becomes more classical and more monumental, until it eventually becomes indistinguishable from its hero in Berlin.
